Month #5 All about Marketing!

The Shock & Awe system is a direct mail postcard and sales letter campaign that I use to deliver a consistent flow of ready, willing, and able home-sellers into my business.

I'm a big fan of direct mail marketing.  We've used direct mail for our sphere of influence, farming, expired listings, and FSBO's.


Direct mail is the ultimate form of One to Many marketing.


Recently we implemented a direct mail program for all listing leads.  We've named it Shock & Awe!  I'm excited to share it with you now!


You can reach out directly to my graphic designer. His name is Danny Atkeisson 469-766-2083.


He is fantastic and his prices are very reasonable. You can reference my material directly such as the Shock & Awe postcards or the Pre-List packet and he will know exactly what you are talking about and can plug your pictures and contact information directly into the material.


Also included in the Shock & Awe mailing we send to listing leads is the video below. The video, along with all the postcards, sales letters, and pre-list packet are all designed to do one important thing... answer the question in your prospects mind:


"What's in it for me?" (you must answer this question in ALL of your marketing)

Closing statement:


There's an enormous gap between what people CAN do and what people WILL do. You can do this. You can double your business, eliminate your debt, and create financial independence... but not without concentrated effort.


Hard Now Easy Later: Do now what others won't so that later you can do what others can't.


Below is my favorite Michael Jordan commercial of all-time. A commercial that most have never seen because it was not "liked" by the namby-pamby's of the world.

Remember Good Life Principle: Hard Now Easy Later.

Consuming and understanding the incredible amounts of information I am throwing at you is Hard Now.

Implementing the ideas, the newsletter, building the list, taking action, etc - is Hard Now.

Doubling your business, eliminating your debt, and reaching financial independence is the Easy Later. A later that only arrives on the other side of Hard.

In order to live the Good Life, get and stay focused, and rise above the mediocre masses... we have to live life differently than the mopish.

I have friends and family members that mock me behind my back (he's too skinny). They bristle when I express my opinion on particular subjects (money being one). And they outright avoid bringing up certain subjects (nobody with a fancy car and a fancier car payment wants to talk to me).

The reason is simple.

I choose, have chosen, and am choosing - to live my life differently than most.

Introspection and self-awareness is often uncomfortable, so most people recoil from it, if they happen to wander into it (Here comes Bart, run!)

In the attempt to better my life, the realization has been that living with certain guidelines makes it much less difficult, than by seat of pants.

Debt-free financially independent people live by certain principles.

Fit (visible abs) and healthy people live by certain principles.

Productive and prolific people live by certain principles.

So today, I wanted to share with you The Good Life Principles. Enjoy.
